Hiya, haven't posted here before. I'm running low on manga to read so I need a refill. 1q336m

I'm looking for something whimsical, was quite a fan of Higuchi Tachibana, Oooshima Yumiko and Yuhki Kamatani. Stuff about fairytales/folktales or magical realism, especially where the feelings of the characters blend in with the rest of the world. I love shoujo manga a whole lot but any demographic is fine with me. I love stories for children as well as adults. I'd like to read something on the longer side if possible. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the list! And with the authors linked alongside them as well. I'm spoiled. (^_^

These are in the ballpark of what I'm looking for, although somehow I've read almost all.... Rojika was really fun, and so was Coffin Kuro. Himistu no Kaidan is exactly what I like. I haven't tried Katana or Kishibe no Uta before, so I'll give em a read. Thank you!

Try Konohanatei Kitan. You said Himitsu no Kaidan was in your strike zone so I assume you're okay with light Shoujo Ai?

Mikakunin de Shinkoukei might fit but it's more of a traditional shoujo romance which seems a little off from what you're looking for.

The word whimsical proved surprisingly limiting here when browsing my lists...

Love shoujo ai/yuri, I drink it up like hot tea lol

Kitan is real cute, Amano's art is real fuwafuwa. I it I wasnt a huge fan of Shinkoukei. However thank you for the comment. Whimsical is a floaty kind of word, but when I find something that fits the descriptor my heart lights up like crazy.

Okay, you're well-read in the world of Shoujo Ai if you've already read Konohanatei Kitan. Lets shift gears.

Hmm, this feels like a challenge. It's rare that I can't recommend anything. Reaching deep into the vaults for this one... what about Tabi to Michizure?

Haven't read that one, so I'll put it in my library! Looks cute! It's funny though, I just read through a bunch of Sumikko no Sora-san a month ago. I'll get a gold star for that stretch, lol.

Oh, I might have one more... what about Kami-sama Bakari Koi o Suru?

Sorry for such a late reply. I read kamisama and it was pretty cute, although I do wish it was longer! I also read Tabi no Michizure and like Sumikko, the art is super charming. Shame I couldn't find full scans. I'll try to hunt down the rest in jp if possible.
